Topcon is represented on the user side and is creating a reference test field to evaluate the performance of novel local 5G networks under construction and agricultural environments. Here, we are particularly interested in the stability and reliability of such networks with high data throughput and the lowest possible latencies. We expect to gain comprehensive insights into the handling, performance and complexity of such network architectures. 

The goal of the work is to evaluate whether such networks are suitable and practicable in Germany, Europe and worldwide for construction applications under harsh and changing environmental conditions.
