CampusOS Consortium Meeting, 12. - 13. September 2023 @ Fraunhofer FOKUS
The third CampusOS consortium meeting took place from September 12-13 at Fraunhofer FOKUS in the heart of Berlin with about fifty partners.
In addition to the demonstrators at TOPCON, STILL & BOSCH, the focus of the joint workshops was on the work on the CampusOS building blocks catalog and our architecture blueprints. Planning our appearance at Hannover Messe 2024 with our partners was also an important part of the meeting.
Marc Emmelmann (Fraunhofer FOKUS), Bernd Schröder (Brown-Iposs) and Reiner Stuhlfauth (Rohde & Schwarz) presented current results from field trials. A keynote by Carsten Rossenhövel (EANTC) on the topic of small and large campus networks was also on the program. Presentations on the RAN intelligent controller by Martin Kasparick (Fraunhofer HHI) and on the Digital Twin by Dario Götz (Atesio) & Martin Stahn (DTAG) also provided exciting insights into the work of the project.
Many thanks to Prof. Slawomir Stanczak and Prof. Thomas Magedanz, the coordinators of CampusOS and of course to the whole Team of Fraunhofer FOKUS for hosting the event.
The Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Action (BMWK) fund the flagship project CampusOS for a period of three years. We are looking forward to further milestones together and would like to thank the
