CampusOS-Konsortialtreffen, 27. & 29. March 2023 @ Bochum

The first CampusOS consortium meeting this year took place from March 27-29 at our partner TOPCON with about 50 participants in Herne near Bochum.

The main focus of the meeting was on the various subprojects ranging from the building block catalog, reference architecture, components and testing, security as well as the use cases and demo sites discussed in the project.

Peter Hofmann, DEUTSCHE TELEKOM SECURITY GMBH provided insights during a keynote presentation on the topic of "Secure Cloud Computing".

The topic of public relations with regard to the CampusOS exhibition booth, the presentations as well as the accompanying video, which will be presented at the Hannover Messe, were also important components of the joint exchange. The evening event took place in the application scenario in the area of networked construction sites and construction site logistics with a portion of construction site charm.

The progress of the milestones within the project is significant for the realization of an ecosystem for 5G campus networks based on open and modular radio technologies and interoperable network components.
