Smart Mobile Labs AG (SML) is the world's leading provider of many-to-many video transmission in real time. Its core technology EVO (Edge Video Orchestrator) enables secure, dynamic and high-quality distribution of video, audio and data streams over the mobile network at lowest latency. Another expertise of SML is the planning and realization of campus networks - also in mobile design.

In the field of 5G networks, SML is not only active in research. More than 40 commercial 5G networks have already been successfully put into operation. During implementation, special focus is also placed on the implementation of user-specific software and thus the adaptation of the network to the customer's use case. 

Smart Mobile Labs AG is developing user-related operator models for a campus network as part of the CampusOS user project. The focus is especially on models and technical methods for small and nomadic campus networks, which are to be supported with a simple and fast network setup with OpenRAN components and the "Neutral Host" concept. Furthermore, SML develops and integrates specific low-latency network and data services in the 5G environment. Based on requirements specifically for low-latency sensor, audio and video data streams, network and data services for efficient distribution and processing are developed and implemented directly within the CampusOS OpenRAN infrastructure or edge cloud.

The goals of this work are to simplify the implementation of a campus network for the user and to make easy use of the 5G infrastructure's own resources to realize low-latency services.
